The Indian Film Festival of Sydney (IFFS) is a celebration of cinema and culture, presenting the best of Indian storytelling to global audiences. Launched in 2010, IFFS has grown into a vibrant cultural event that brings together filmmakers, artists, and audiences.

The festival showcases diverse stories from India and the subcontinent, highlighting independent voices and unique perspectives. More than just films, IFFS creates a space for dialogue, cultural exchange, and collaboration between communities.

Alongside these highlights, the festival will also showcase over 15 outstanding films selected from more than 3,000 submissions received on FilmFreeway, reflecting the incredible diversity and talent of filmmakers from around the world.

After a pause during COVID, we are proud to return in person for our 11th anniversary edition of the Indian Film Festival of Sydney, taking place from 9th to 11th October 2025.
