Kabir Khan began his career as a documentary film-maker, on assignments for which have taken him to over 60 countries. He won the prestigious National Award in 2006 for best New Director for the film ‘Kabul Express’. His second feature film, ‘New York’(2009), met with critical acclaim all over the world. At Singapore AFFF 2007 Kabir received the Best Director’s Award and the Purple Orchid Trophy for Best Film. He has directed many award-winning documentaries that between them have won the Grand Jury Award at Film South Asia 2000, Best National Film Award at Mumbai International Film Festival 2002 and several National Critics awards.

Mick Molloy is one of Australia’s most recognised and successful comedians.
He has made his mark across the media as a popular writer, performer and producer in film, television and radio. He has been named Australian Movie Star of The Year at the prestigious Australian Movie Convention in recognition of the outstanding success of his films at the Australian Box Office. He has been named Producer of the Year by The Screen Producers Association of Australia which is the highest accolade possible from Australia’s most important industry body.
In a huge career spanning more than two decades Mick has been crucial to the growth, development and success of Australian comedy. He has been involved in seminal Australian projects such as Crackerjack, BoyTown, The Degeneration, The Late Show and Kath & Kim. Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) graduate Raju has written and directed three of India’s most beloved films. His first two films ‘Munna Bhai M.B.B.S’ and ‘Lage Raho Munna Bhai’ have earned him a reputation as a realistic comic film-maker. His recent release ‘3 Idiots’ is now the highest-grossing Bollywood film of all time and he is the recipient of many Indian jury and critics’ awards for direction, screenplay writing and editing. Raju is easily one of the most significant and ground breaking film makers in India today.

Robyn’s credits include producing the award winning Bran Nue Dae (2010), starring Jessica Mauboy, Ernie Dingo and Geoffrey Rush - it grossed $7.7 million theatrically and has premiered at over 20 international film festivals. Also, the award winning Looking For Alibrandi (dir. Kate Woods, 2000) starring Anthony LaPaglia, Greta Scacchi and Pia Miranda which grossed A$8.3 million theatrically. From 2001 to 2004 she was Head of Drama and Narrative Comedy for ABC TV during which time she commissioned and executive produced series which included the International Emmy-nominated MDA and Kath & Kim. Robyn is currently on the Board of ScreenWest.

Shimit Amin was born in Kampala, Uganda and studied Mathematics at
the University of Florida. After various film and television related jobs in Los Angeles, including script development and film editing, he made his first feature film in Mumbai, ‘Ab Tak Chhappan’ (2004). His second film ‘Chak De India’(‘07), went on to become a critical as well as box office success in India. His most recent film is 2009’s ‘Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year’.
